God’s inexpressible gift

Our relationship to Jesus Christ is at the heart of our assurance of salvation.  In Him, we have eternal life.  In Him, we are changed and made fruitful.   No more fear in death.  No more fear of judgment.  No more fear of hell.  Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)

Today’s reading:

My selection:

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

1 John 5:11-12
