Danger and Delight

Yesterday, we looked at the idea that hysteria in the face of adverse circumstances does not befit a disciple of Jesus Christ.  From today’s reading (Psalm 16:1-19:14) we may add that delight in God and in His people is what befits a Christian disciple.  The Psalmist declares this with his memorable words, “I have no good apart from you.  As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight” (Psalm 16:2b-3).

May you find all your desires fulfilled in Him and all your delight in the fellowship of His people.
