1. I believe it is God’s Word.

2 Timothy 3: 16a All Scripture is breathed out by God…

2. It teaches me the way to salvation.

2 Timothy 3:14-15 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it  and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus

3. I believe it is essential to my growth and service for God.

2 Timothy 3: 16-17 All Scripture is… profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,  that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

4. The Bible is too profound to completely absorb even in a lifetime of repeated readings.

Romans 11:33-36

33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! 34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” 35 “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” 36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
