Today’s reading: 1 Samuel 22:6-24:22

As a leader, David demonstrated that he feared no one but God and that he trusted God completely.  His decisions consistently reflected these traits,.  Saul, on the other hand, was whiny, paranoid, self-centered, and manipulative.  [ For an example of this see I Samuel 22:6-10].

What a contrast in character and faith!

[For more reflections on this passage see the corresponding reading in my book Cover to Cover: Through the Bible in 365 days].
